I'm thinking about buying either Komplete 11 (not ultimate) or Omnisphere 2. I need opinions on what I should buy.I make Hip-Hop music and Experimental hip-hop I already own Komplete 11 select and am wondering if upgrading to Komplete 11(upgrade) would be worth it or not Or if I'm better off buying Omnisphere.
- I have Komplete 10 Ultimate and all of the Spectrasonics virtual instruments (including, of course, Omnisphere 2.5), and there's very little overlap between the Native Instruments and Spectrasonics product lines when you look beyond the surface.

- You bought Omnisphere 2 AND Komplete 11 and you're dissatisfied with BOTH, lol. You just bought the wrong tools for the job, pal. Do your research next time before you splurge. So you should edit your topic - 'Omnisphere and Komplete 11 overrated for HIP HOP?' The answer is YES. For someone though who does say.hybrid film scoring?
- I got Komplete 10 for around $400 on sale. Check around and go that route. I really like Komplete, but can't wait to get Omnisphere 2. They are truly 2 completely different programs. Komplete will get you a solid foundation for almost any style music. Omnisphere has precisely what I am wanting to do at the moment.
- Dec 04, 2018 11-12 isn’t worth it but 7-12 would bring loads of good stuff and upgrades. Having said that, I don’t use an awful lot of Komplete. I have KU11 too. I’ll use Razor a bit and a few of the other synths from time to time but I tend to have a lot more fun out of Omnisphere 2.
